I love the new "File -> New" Option for Setting Page Size and Color Profiles. But for choosing the Bleed i have to work around in "Propieries". (Hope I translate the Options correctly, i tryout the german version).

A possibility to choose the Bleed (and perhaps the inner bleed) within this dialogue would cover lots of time.

Thanx in Advance

Bleed is part of the print dialogue which is where it belongs. Facing pages on the other hand has a broken model because there is no bleed in the gutter. That is something that needs to be reviewed urgently as there is not need to eliminate bleed in the gutter as imposition software does that.

There is a goal with the UI to keep it simple as possible. If you have a look at the video on CM that opening dialogue sets up a lot of functions. Example if you choose RGB then it sets the color pallet on the right to the RGB pallet.

There are 3 places where you can set bleed, by double clicking the page boundary, via options and in the print dialogue.

Once you have everything set up as you like it go "Tools / Save as Default"
