Corel X5 seem slow with bitmaps in the file

Hello, Just from haveing a small jpeg or tiff image in the file it seems corel draw x5 is very slow as every time I zoom in or out it is very sluggish anyone else have this?

I seem to be having speed and redraw issues when working with X5. I don't know if video driver updates will help but next week I'll make time to install the latest video drivers.
