I loaded SP1 but lost the Free hand and Bezier tools for Corel Draw.  Am I missing something?

Reset your workspace. Hold F8 While the program starts and Click OK!

I  tried that 3 times but it didn't fix the problem.

Not sure on X5 but in other versions you  could right click any where in the Toolbox Toolbar and select Customize then Toolbox toolbar, Reset to Default

It's happened to me as well - see previous post "Help! Bezier and freehand tools gone". I've tried F8, default, reboot etc - doesn't work. The tools are gone from customization lists as well.
It seems to have happened after an unexpected crash and a run time error.

Hi.

You should be able to find the tools in Tools > Customize > Command Bars and drag and drop it back in.

I uninstalled and reinstalled now I can't get into Corel  Draw  BS

Hi John

As I said in my post - the tools (bezier and Freehand) aren't in Command Bars anymore. Like Richard, I've tried all the usual (F8 etc); I'm going to do an uninstall / install shortly even though it hasn't worked for him. I desperately need both of these tools for my work.

I've never wasted so much time as with this blasted version!

Sorry.  I was looking for that before I opened my mouth. I  must of missed it.

I had to use the F8 to get the reloaded corel draw to start.  Everything worked fine.  I ran the service pak again, started program everything is working fine.

Hi Richard

That's good. I've got my bezier and freehand back  as well, but only after reinstalling x5 and taking SP1 down again. Weird that the same thing happened to both of us at roughly the same time - I wonder if the same has occured to anybody else,

I'm on XP Media Centre Edition version 2002 SP3. I mention it because there's been a few questions about its compatability with x5.

Colin

Same problem here. The tools were there before I loaded SP1. I have tried closing X5 down and loading a new blank document  but it made no difference. I also tried to invoke the freehand tool by using the F5 keyboard shortcut. No luck there either.

I'll try some of the suggestions in this thread but is seems I've got a reinstall of X5 coming as I simply can't do without these tools.

I also had a runtime error today but the tools had dissaperared before that happened

Its seems to me another muck up by Corel.

After I re-loaded X5 I re-installed SP1 no problems with tools.  I had lost enough time trying to fix problem and get through to support I started to kick myself in the but for trying to re-load SP1 but everything is fine.
