Whenever I am working with a graphic that contains 50% in CorelDraw and especially in Photo-paint I cannot see selection drag boxes, bounding boxes, text selection, the list goes on and on. I would like to have some contrast "pretty please," so we can see what we are doing when working with 50% gray!

TIA

You'd think the developers would've noticed this years ago. When thinking of how often the creation process slows down due to the fact that you can't see the handle boxes to grab them, I realize this has been quite a problem when using DRAW! forcing me to switch to wireframe mode or to temporarily move or recolor other objects.

What we have now with the boxes is some kind of color inversing thing that neutralizes as it approches 50%, which would be a NOT function. Using XOR or some amount of hue shifting algorythm would be a simple fix and would enhance Corel's workability. Or at the least have the resulting display pixel color stay 10% away from the below object value. The key thought here is that anything used as a working tool such as a mouse cursor or node box should always exhibit the maximum amount of visible contrast.

Mind you this is just a small gray blemish on an otherwise perfect white cake. CakeStick out tongue
