I'm having a hard time interfacing my Graphtec CE5000-60 with Corel Draw.  I've done it in the past, and I had to format my computer after a file corruption.  I can't figure out how I resolved this issue on my life.

First a little specification on my setup.

XP SP3 machine, Corel Draw X3 OEM, Graphtec CE5000-60... For any other relevant information please ask.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled all programs involved in the process.  I have the driver installed for the plotter (this is just installed as a printer on my system correct?).  I recently became aware that the OEM version might not come with visual basic.  So, i installed the most recent visual basic express version.  2010 I think....

The problem I'm having is that I can't get cut master 2 to open when I launch cut/plot from the rocket menu in corel draw.  I can do a test cut from cut master 2, but no luck at all launching it from x3.  I've also tried just printing to the ce5000 directly.  It will cause the plotter to activate but will never cut.

Is there any .dll type file that I need to move from cutting master 2 to within the installation files of x3 for it to recognize?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello devindorman; Why not give the vender you got the cutter from a call and he may be able to talk you thru the install ( what needs to be done ) or screen share and do it for you.

My Thoughts George

I'm certainly trying to do so ;). Not really helping much considering that I haven't gotten an answer or call back.  If  they call back I'm sure they would be of great help in the situation, but for the time being I suppose I'm on my own.

You described installing some VBA thing. If it wasn’t the one supplied by Corel with CorelDRAW X3, it won’t help.

That was my assumption, but there was notes from the last time this problem was addressed that a version of vb was installed as part of the fix.

I have the same issue with X6, I have talked with Graphtec and Corel several times to resolve the issue and at this time there is no fix except maybe re-format the drive. The problem is Scanvec makes the cutting driver for Graphtec and the problem is know but they do not know how to fix the code.

You can not get this to install correctly if you have a previous version of corel installed and your new version.
