Importing PDF to Export as a DWG or other CAD file will this work?

I've got some PDF's that I'd like to convert to a DXF or DWG. How do I do this?

 

Is it as simple as Import>>>PDF  -----   then Export>>>DXF?

 

or are there other hoops I'd need to jump through.

Hello Nick; If there is no raster objects in the PDF, I would save it as a CDR file, reopen it then export for the CAD program.

It depends on what you need in the DXF file. DXF Export from CorelDRAW is not very good in my opinion and there are certainly things can can’t be represented in DXF.
 
PDF import success depends on the contents of the PDF.
 
I would say the chances of the entire process being successful would be extremely low.

Agree with Foster, especially not knowing what the PDF files consist of. If they are simple B&W vector images, it could be as simple as you state.
