problem in copying shadow properties

I'm having problems in copying shadow properties. attached is the video

 

 

Windows 7 [64-bit], Core i3 - 3.02 GHz, 4GB DDR 3 RAM

Hi,

You need to click on the actual Shadow part of object. From the video it seems you are clicking on the object and not its shadow.

Looks like you're doing it the wrong way.

You're supposed to select the object you want to add a shadow to first.
Then with the Shadow tool selected, click the Property Bar button and then click with the arrow at the shadow you want to copy.

Alternatively; select object, use Effects > Copy Effect > Drop Shadow From... and then click the shadow.

Hello,

I benefit from this post to ask a question about shadows

Which average rapid to make a  shadows … towards the interior ? stamping 
Today I am obliged to do much handling to have an approximate result
