    When importing a graphic, does anyone know a way to default the "Maintain Layers And Pages" checkbox to OFF?  Thanks in advance.

    1) drag'n'drop file from a folder right onto your page (loses original objects page placement)
    2) use RecentFiles macro :-) - Alt-dblclick on file to import it then <Space> to keep original placement of file's objects
