coreldraw hangs when i format text such as alignment, bullet, etc.  is there any reason for this?  am sometimes able to recover but sometimes i just have to shut off the entire thing just to get it back on.  been having this problem since earlier versions of coreldraw up to my present corel 12.

How many fonts are actively installed on your system?

If it is over 400, what happens if you reduce the number of fonts?

Does it happen in all fonts? Only Type One Fonts?

about 300+ fonts are active in my system

however, even when the file i am working on has just one or two text contents using arial and times new roman, most of the time, it either hangs for a while or hangs indefinitely when i try to justify it or something.

any ideas?  have been experiencing this since corel 10 and now the same thing in corel 12
