    CorelDRAW X4 - Buttons in GREY do not work

    I am using CorelDRAW X4. Now-a-days, I am facing a problem i.e. buttons are grey and do not work (e.g. save, save as, print, etc.). Its not trial version and I have installed corel capture. What do I do? See picture for reference.

    Try to drop workspace to Factory default with F8 on startup...

    I also tried workspace F8, but it did not work. I am confused now.

    Is your version of CorelDRAW an activated version from the download or did you buy a box version of CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X4?

    My CorelDRAW X4 does not show that it is in trial mode; so that means it is pre-activated. I did not buy a box version.

    I thin we know why it won't work for you. You need to buy a copy of the software. This is what happens when the trial period runs out.

     Well! I do not think so that we know. If it is a trial period and it is expired then Corel must show a message to buy. I think Corel X4 sucks. Its a truth. Believe or not. Don't Chaaaaa!

    Someone can tell exactly, what the problem is? Don't guess. Just give the right suggestion. I'm waiting.

    If you bought the software, you must activate it, unless all saving and exporting functions will expire after 14 days of use. You have to type in your serial number and connect to the internet to activate (like adobe software).

     I downloaded the trial version, it lapsed then I bought (online) the proper copy, but I am still stuck in the trial, I don't get or see any place where I can put the paid for key in!!!! I also can't find any phone # to call to ask help, stock answers on the FAQ site doesn't help

    I agree with "lwlvl". If my software is expired, then corel must show a message to buy or to put key. This is something that is annoying me.

    Open Help menu, second from bottom is Registration, click and fill in your Activation Key, click OK and Corel will say, Thank You for buying Corel Software, you will now have a functional copy of the X4 suite, done!

     Thanks Finn but no luck, I dont have a 'registration' anywhere, second from the bottom under the Help menu is Corel support, and i already tried that

    I believe that you can register over the phone as well.

    Thanks for taking interest in my problem. I tell you one thing, I am not the beginner in using computer and softwares.

    As you told about the registration button, I already tried to find out but failed. There is something serious about Corel X4
