    X4 dumping of CutStudio plug-in

This is the third incident of my X4 dumping the cut studio plug-in off the side panel.  The last two times I have uninstalled and re-installed corel and re-established the plug-in but that's a PITA!  there is no warning, the icon is just removed from the side panel and cannot be re-established by going to "customization" and accessing the plug-in there...it has completely vanished.  I have been on with tech support through my Roland retailer and they have suggested that the problem lies within the corel X4 program.

Does anyone know why this is happening or had similar issues?  I previously used Signlab without incident but really like the convenience and ease of cut studio.

I'm not that experienced, but I'll try whatever suggestions you have!  TIA!

I don't know if Cut studio is anything like CoCut. After I upgraded to CorelX4 from Corel10 the CoCut wouldn't work. I checked around on the internet and found out that I had to upgrade the CoCut to work with X4. I make my signs for CoCut on Corel10 and do everything else on X4.

My plotter is working properly, I jsut ahve to export all of my designs now instead of using the little icon plug-in.  It's this plug-in that's getting dumped....but otherwise the plotter is working great.

I guess it's more of an inconvenience than anything.......I've emailed Corel directly so perhaps they will diagnose the problem.

    Thanks!
