    Hi Gerard,

I've ben reading a lot about CDRX4 SP1 and I can see that is anxiously expected by everyone. To add my 2 cents, I would like to say that I personally stick to the old saying 'If it works, don't fix it!'. So if you can live by the original version of CDRX4 (e.g. it doesn't hang, you don't need to see the resolution of an imported image, everything prints fine or you don't print at all etc.) then you simply don't need the SP1. From what I hear for instance, the 'public BETA' (should there be public beta versions for SPs?) for WinVista, causes more problems than the problems it solves.

As I said, just my 2 cents

     Hi Gérard!

I was just wondering, some of the issues people are having with Corel does not affect everyone, for example the Scrapbook.  This is one of the fixes in the SP1, will this effect my copy of Corel that does have scrapbook, negatively?  Like bcintegrated stated, 'if it works, leave it', otherwise you will maybe end up with worse problems? Because like I said, some of us have SOME of the issues, not all mentioned?

Am I making sense at all? Tongue Tied

    Hi Aliquis,

well, I was referring to the end users, not Corel. Anyway, From what I can understand, Corel fixes errors that can be re-created on every (or most) systems, so they are fixing 'global' bugs. But if the bugs fixed do not affect you (or any end user) it's pointless to install the SP. I recall there were SPs (not from Corel necessarily) fixing bugs that previous SPs for the same Software version caused.

Hi BC, I was referring to the end users as well. Maybe I did not explain myself correctly?

I am having some of the issues, not all (like most of us).  And I was wondering if it will effect my copy of Corel negatively if installing the service pack because you don't select what you want to install in a SP, you just install the whole kit and sometimes that has negative behaviour on some aspects of the programme.

Like for example, my scrapbook is in the location that it is supposed to be (but a lot of people say it is not there).  Now I install SP1, and because it tries to "correct" something that is not a bug on my side, Corel crashes or something. So, maybe I should rather not install the SP...

    Gerard,

I am wondering if there is anything in the SP for Bitstream Font Navigator?
