    Top 100 Forum Topics

I see many topics these days rehashed by people who are just joining or at least have no idea that we've been there, done that (usually with good suggestions or remedies). Perhaps to make it easier to find (as if the search wasn't good enough), a separate area that lists the top 100 topics we've discussed might cut down on the repeats.

Actually a FAQ section (sticky) would be most welcome. Several of the software vendors and/or hardware vendors have very helpful FAQ sections on their websites; I'm baffled that Corel do not.

There is a FAQ sections on
Alex Vakulenko's site which may be useful to many. Judging by it we may need a FAQ, a RFAQ (REALLY frequently asked questions!), and VOAQ (Very Often Asked Questions).

Alex's extensive FAQ is at http://forum.oberonplace.com/forumdisplay.php?f=34

Using the tag system is the solution. I guess the NNTP crew are outside of that.

The Wiki is the go as you can have a discussion going on behind a specific page.

I do think we should have an agree tag that is used to direct issues up the food chain in cases where they are important and might otherwise go unnoticed. That said not much goes unnoticed so it is likely not worth the effort.

I thought about calling it that, but it doesn't quite fit,  as some of it may not be a fact as much as a list. Which could lead to further posts of course. I don't want to say that human nature is to be lazy... I would of course never intimate that. ;) But it would be great (particuarly for new members) if someone had an issue to quickly check the "list" before posting yet another hashed over subject and saved us all some time.
