    Fix for minor nuisance

     Hi Everybody,
    1.  Hitting Enter creates a double space instead of a single space.
    2.  QUICK FIX:   Hold down Shift key before hitting Enter.
QUESTION:  Should we waste our time telling Corel to fix anything.

    Hi Phil

IMO no one in the world is perfect. And no one can change unless he knows, what wrong, he is doing. So anything and everything should be communicated. And yes, every one has his own priorities to deal with the suggestions received. Don't you agree ?

BTW I have not understood your first query regarding Hitting Enter Key

Thanks for the "quick fix" - Have a good day

I assume you are talking about line spacing and not character spacing after a line break. This is because of the HTML formating  of the message engine. If you've done any web design you will know this is a common occurance.  It never comes up for me because I allow the text to wrap when I want a single space and hit enter when I want a paragraph break.  The text in this paragraph is self-wrapping. The text in the next is an Enter.

Shift Enter has been around for decades now as a means to simulate a soft line break.

     Hi Anand,
    1.  I meant line spacing -- not character spacing.
    2.  It only happens when you are posting directly from the forum.  If you post from a news browser, you get crazy fonts instead.

     Hi
Awe, not really.  I'm a regular guy,  I just wish everybody would come back to the simplistic news groups.
I liked California.  I took basic training at Camp Roberts during WW2.  Then I visited San Diego frequently as part of the job.

Wow, really?  My Late husband was a Navy Pilot -out of Coronado .  Small world eh? :)  I'm in Lajolla which is a good Bike ride from San Diego.

Being very new to Corel (still reading Unleashed for my new 2week old x4) I haven't even perused the news groups .  I meant no disrespect , I have a lot of friends like that

    Have a great day!
