    Bitmap TIFF with transparency.

Hi all, can anyone help me with this? Someone was telling me that it is a good idea to use bitmap mode TIFFs to achieve transparency but I can't seem to make it work. I go into Photoshop, load a b/w image, change the mode to grayscale, change the resolution to 1200 and up the size to be nice and big, change the mode to bitmap with a Method of 50% threshold. I then save as a Tiff with no compression and not saving the pyramid (whatever that is!) and bring it into CorelDRAW. When he showed me this using InDesign, at this point the image was black with a transparent bg which is what I want but in CDR it's got no transparency. Is there a way to make this work?
Thanks for any help you can offer,
    Phil

    Answer

Ahhh! Worked it out. In case anyone else is wondering, you just import it and right click a color to choose the color of the black foreground and left click on the No Fill 'X' to get a transparent bg. Easy. Just didn't think of it!
