I noticed I had a fan here when I watched my profile (thanks Stefan ). I also think I somewhere saw that you could check a box for watching a users posts. I assume this will show up in that users profile as being a fan, correct?

Anyway, I now don't seem to be able to find where you can watch a users posts. Seems very elusive. How do I find that setting?

It is not the best experience with the current version of the server. I believe this is something that has been improved with the new version of the engine running behind the server and we are looking at upgrading to it in the coming months (there are many dependencies that make it a lot of work).

To add people as fans, go to their profile and select "Add as a friend". To see the people you are a "fan" of, go to "Edit profile" and have a look at the favorites tab.

 So the users that add someone as a friend will show up in the "fan" base? But what about whatching someones posts? I think I saw a checkbox for that somewhere and I thought that was the fan setting.

I believe you can search for the posts made by someone (from his profile) and then you can subscribe to the search results with your RSS reader, but I don't think you can actually get email notifications (or other types of notifications) when a specific person posts, at least I would not know how.
