How frequently do you turn to the printed user guide for assistance...

I actually ready through the user guide a couple times a year. Have been know to spit out page numbers when answering questions in forums helping others

This could be a good idea for newbies. I personally do refer the printed user guide for the purpose you use it.

Like :

- Refering to some procedure, task for the students.

- Deciding the sequence of topics to be taught etc.

IMO, this could  tried for the novice users and would reduce the time to write and explain things in answering the queries. I am not sure of the download version if it has the e-copy of this guide.
