You can imagine how ecstatic I was when I found out that I could import CorelDRAW 2D vector data and mess with it in Lightwave. This was my very first model and it took around 8 months to complete... Corel makes it so easy to align the views and bring them into a 3D app. I made this in 2004 with version 11 I think... I always liked the long tube at the front of the ship to balance out the design but never thought of any other use besides maybe a gun, light or receiver of some kind. I recently watched an aviation show where long tubes like that are mounted on the front of air craft to suppress the sonic boom.
