This is the new illustration I did the for the new poster, for the new upcoming exhibition "Who is Pirate?" at Swedish National Maritime Museum, which opens December 5, 2009. I also made 4 additional illustrations that are part of the actual exhibition. I used my Wacom Intuos 3 pen tablet and Corel Photo-Paint X4. Cover & illustration for the Swedish publisher BTJ Förlag (publishing). The book "Chic Lit" is a book about Chich Lit, as a reference guide, for example librarians and others looking for more quality chic lit books. I made both front, spine and back. Together with my initial pencil sketches/drawings in my skecthbook, I draw the illustration in Photo-Paint X4, and layout made in CorelDRAWX4.

Illustration & book cover design for a kids book.

Drawn & illustrated using Corel Photo-Paint X4 with a Wacom Intuos tablet, and text & layout using CorelDRAW X4. Made rough sketches in my skecthpad on paper. And then continued in Photo-Paint.

Release august/september 2009.
Will be seen at the Swedish interantional Book fair 24 - 27 september 2009.
I made both the illustration on the cover & the cover design itself.
9 B&W additional illustrations inside the book.

"Snabba Ryck!" (Moving fast!) published by Hegas Publishing (Sweden), target 11 year olds, both boys & girls.

Illustration for the Wacom Intuos4 release in Sweden.
Entirely made with Corel Photo-Paint X4 ( CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X4)
And a Wacom Intuos3 tablet.

I made this illustration especially for the Swedish release 25 april 2009, for the release of the Wacom Intuos4 tablet. I was asked by the Swedish Wacom representative and Wacom Europe, to participate with an illustration and exhibting it at the release. Which happened on several places during the day.

It was printed out on thick art paper in 70 x 100 centimeters.

This illustration is my own interpretation of the universe. So its my own imaginative image from beginning to end. Inspired, yes, by all the wonderful pictures taken by the Hubble telescope. But this is not a copy from a photo. Its all from my own head. Its all Photo-Paint and my own imagination.

I made this illustration entirely with Corel Photo-Paint X4.
And I made it today 8 january 2009.

I used Add noise for the stars in the bakground and the rest,
tons of objects of transparant painting, using different brushes and Motion Blur and Gaussian Blur.

Illustration was made for a Swedish labor Union magazine for the transport industry. Its for an article about employees being more and more monitored by the companys. Personal issues, alchohol, drugs etc., as well as time in delivering aspects, such as GPS tracking. Employees are feeling to much monitored by their bosses.

Illustration is drawn entirely with a Wacom Intuos3 A6 Wide, using 99% Corel Photo-Paint X4, and the last 1% CorelDRAW X4 (the streets), which was importing the streets. Copyright Stefan Lindblad 2008

Illustration I made for the Norwegian edition of the magazine Auto Motor Sport. Nov issue 2008. A two page spread. Its a mixed media illustration. The article and the illustration is about "green" cars, and the market for them.

I made this illustration by using a photo of the car, a Mitsubishi electric car, which I changed colour of from grey metal to this colour instead. And then I whent outside my house, and picked real leaves that I later scanned into my computer. I then took photos of leaves of indoor plantes as well in my house. All these leaves are what makes the cabel on the car. I made my own Image list using the Artistic Media Tool, and then sprayed the leaves on top of each others. And the rest I draw with the brush tool and painted using Corel PHOTO-PAINT X4, and my Wacom Intuos3 tablet.

I have said it before on my blog, connected to my website: I am not running a tip & tricks blog on my website [;)] . But just came to think about the new Photo Filter Lens we now got with the new Corel Photo-Paint X4, the image editing and illustration program that comes bundled with CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X4. You can find the Photo Filter Lens in the Object´s docker as useal.
