This is a design proposal for a acreage sign. CorelDraw X4 was used for the whole thing except the gold lettering which I did in Xara Xtreme and imported back into CorelDraw. The actual sign will have sculpted and 23 karat gold leaf lettering applied to the sign panel.

Here's another drawing I did to show the use of the glyphs (characters) for a font I've been working on. The words "Map of the Universe" shows an alternate "e" and "f" in use as well as a ligiture for the "th" in "the". The whole thing was done in CorelDraw X4

Gunpowder Can

I've been working on creating a font in CorelDraw X4 so I did this up to show the glyphs (characters) in action. The words "Gunpowder" and "Small Bore Pistols" use the glyphs I've created as does the four "f"s and the number 4 in the 4f seal. As I've discovered, building a font is a LOT of work. I still have to export the glyphs out of CorelDraw X4 to bring them into FontLab for kerning and hinting. Still LOTS of work (hours) left. The screw top cap for the top of the can took longer than it should have but in the end I was happy with the results.

Hub Barber Shop

This is a design I did for the Hub Barber Shop that wanted something a little classier than the simple lettering they had stuck to their window in white vinyl. The layout was done in CorelDraw X3.

Woltjer Family Residential Sign

This is sign I produced for a co-worker who wanted something special in commeration of the fifth anniversary of their first home purchase. One of these days I'll take a picture of the actual sign. This was done with CorelDraw X3 which is the best version of CorelDraw so far.

Coal Trail Catering

A local catering company that specializes in spit roasted hogs wanted a logo that they could use on the side their mobile kitchen as well printed on their dinner plates. That meant the design pretty much had to be done in a circle. The pig was from a clipart gallery and I added the chef's hat to fit with the concept the customer had in mind. This was done in CorelDraw X3.

Arley's Rocky Transport

This was a design I did up in CorelDraw X3 for a trucking company that wanted something to replace their name in red letters on the doors of their white trucks. They really liked it but I'm still waiting for a deposit.

Metro Station Bar and Grill

This was a design I did for the Metro Station Bar and Grill. They wanted something "Urban" and "Retro" looking so I've tried to do that with a choice of fonts that give it the right look. Everything was done in CorelDraw X3.

Bean Brokers Gourmet Coffee
