Here is the Black Beauty Art Print just back from the framers. Being my first freelance work, I wanted it framed to perserve it. I am posting this here because nearly a year ago I sent Round Two models a thank you letter for all the great kits they have put out. Lots of stuff I built back in the day, and now can do a better job due to improved modeling skills. Jamie Hood there followed the link on the bottom of my email. In my mail signature I have a link to this page. He liked what he saw and to my surprise asked me if I wanted to tackle a project. They needed an art print to be included in all the collector's tins sold. I accepted. I drew the car in the different views. Their artist put it in the blue print background. But the thing is, I wanted to let you know that my "doodling" I do here has paid off. This is the actual art print that comes with the model in the tin. That is my work. Now when you buy the Polar Lights Black Beauty Model Kit in the Collector's Tin, you will find inside a rolled up poster consisting of my work all done in Corel Draw. The actual print is much better...this pic doesn't do it justice. Oh, and if you want to support me or the company, downloading this doesn't help because it's not the whole image. Buy the model kit. Considering the price, I have paid more for lithographic prints in the past. Oh, and this is an updated picture...a more dead on shot.
