Interesting concept there Tetro. Would this be a solid acrylic block on top of the yellow or thin sheets glued to make a box, which looks like it would be kind of fragile.

I planned it to be made with glued 1/8" clear acrylic sheets. This sign was designed to be 60" wide.
Anyway...This project was too expensive for the client. He chose to go for another company proposing flat/cut aluminum letters!!!!!!!!! HA!!! My salesman at the time didn't quite listen to what the client needed.
He wanted to blow his mind with a WOW! The wow turned out be a WO!!! LOL.
No harm done, it sits in my portfolio. I like it.
Stephan, nice work bro! I like those materials you are using, anything that lets light dance thru it is very fun to look at. “WO!!!” seems to be the new response in this hard economic environment.
Stephan do you do much with edge lit acrylic in your call out of your design?
