Another page layout from the brochure mentioned in my previous entry. This time, its a sunset outdoor chill-out party beside the bay where the hotel is located.Just as the previous layout, I had to create all of the visuals and the content as well, yet unlike the previous layout, the bar being promoted here does not have an existing logo so I had to create a logo for the bar hosting the event.

This was done in CorelDRAW, with image editing (wine bottle, flaming martini glass, etc) done in Corel Photo-Paint.

You should create a little of transparency in the bottom part of the bottle to let it the brown background pass thru it. This will create a realistic touch, and will integrate the bottle better in the design, similar of what you did with the bottle collar.

Only a note. You should eliminate the dot line to mark the fold. It should be in the bleed area and not in the design. If you place it there to let us know that there is a fold, never mind.

Thanks for your observations. This is actually one of four layouts made for a proposed brochure (see my other layout "Menage a Trois" in my gallery).

I did plan to add a reflection of the bottle below but, compared to the glasses at right, it would look dwarfed by the glasses' size, as well as affecting the look of the other layouts so I decided not to include it in all of the four layouts to maintain consistency.

Hi sonny, may be you wont belive, one year ago when i first saw your work. I just wanted to get started with coreldaw. that time i just installed corel. I love all of your work and hope to reach even a close level to yours.
