If I plan to win this contest I'm gonna need to step up my illustration Game. I am beginning to doubt my tallent. It needs more everything.......Light and shadow, Texture, A Background and so much more. There are a couple places I need to start sketching out the components to such as the body. Wish me luck I'm gonna need it.

The forms are taking shape and becoming more 3-d. I like the forms you're coming up with. Are you using simple gradients or gradient mesh fills as well?

I am using just simple gradiants overlayed on top of the original shape
