Corel Draw X4

I am having a problem using Corel Draw X4. Whenever I use guide lines the program slows down to a crawl..It is almost impossible to use. I have a new computer running Window 7 with 4 gb Ram. I know it is not a computer speed problem but possibly a setting. I have tried to install SP1 and it will not let me. I have a four user license. I need to know if anyone is having a similar problem and may know how to fix..

X5 and (old) Font Navigator

I have win 7 64bit and I download X5 to try it. I'm very dissapoited, because this FontNavigator (is the same like X4) still isn't working with these OS. I have from Win XP many group of fonts, that them unfortunately can't (of all) to turn on WIN 7.

I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I've installed (and uninstalled) Coral Draw 8 three times after upgrading to XP, but every time I'v tried to open a file, it hangs. Do I need to change a setting for it to work in XP? Thanks.

Good day to you...

I'm not an artist, but I've done some very incredible things with Corel Draw and Rave. Please check out my link (gallery) and let me know what you think. The images are raster and not the corel (CDR) version.

Graphics range from animations, still images as orthogrphics to complex exploided tri-metric views. I don't see much of that on this site, so I don't know if this will have any bearing on the site community.

Publishing to PDF: CorelDRAW X4 (Dutch version) crashes

Even after installing Service Pack 2 (I mistakenly thought this might help) the application crashes when I try to publish to PDF using the Pre-press button. Funilly enough if you use the Prepare for service bureau (don't know what the correct wordingis in the English version) you find CorelDarw X4 does produce a PDF without problems. Leafing through the comments here I've used the PDF/X-3 preset as one of the solutions mentionded, and this worked out ok.

Has this problem been resolved yet?
