X5 Insert new Object - no ICON showing

For some reason in CorelDRAW 14 and 15 when you insert any file (JEPG image, PDF, Excel etc.) and you “create from file” and click on “show Icon” and click OK the image that shows up in your drawing is text file name only with no ICON Image. The link to the file works perfectly but there is no ICON image showing what the file is. In X3 when you link a file, the image of the ICON appears (JEPG image, PDF, Excel etc.) but in X4 and X5 no ICON images shows, only the file name as text. I tried to convert to an ICON image to one that is listed but still no image except text.

I am updating all my video tutorials on using CorelDRAW from X3 to X5 and need to get this resolved. If you review the following video that I created showing my customers how to link files, you will see at in X3 no problem. I need to get X5 to do the same before updating this video.
