Thank you, GruberJan! It's a great honour for me! And yes, you are right. I have used only unsmoothed nodes and forgot to smooth them in the right moment. Now it's too late, I am not going to change 1.232 nodes...

GREAT ARTWORK WITHOUT DOUBT, BUT THERE IS SOMETHING IN THE EYES WHICH MAKE IT LOOKS WRONG.
Sometimes, for moments, I feel that there is something in the eye too; maybe because the right eye is darker in the shadow.
Or maybe because in the right eye, the iris covers the whole distance between the upper and lower eyelids, while the left iris does not, so the right looks bigger.
TIPS:
what about changing the contrast, and the light direction.
closing a little bit more the tight eye.
being less detailed in the right. (because you were less detailed in the left eye)

It is very interessting to read the different points of view! Actually it is the dark shadow above the right eyelid the missing detail in the left bottom eyelid AND the flat color of the forehead... Think I'm going to fix that.
BTW: this Portrait is my first freehand meshfill work...
