The original X5 install disks come with it, but the files are seriously outdated.
Unfortunately new versions of Ghostscript have introduced a bug that renders dark LAB colors incorrectly, for example dark blue is rendered as black. This affects the spot colors import, as LAB color model is often used to represent

Hi ellenelle, The problem is in the TypeTool. The file it generates is not in EPS format. It is not even in AI format. It is extremely simple PostScript file with slapped AI extension at the end, probably in order to fool Adobe Illustrator into opening it. If you try to import this .AI file in GhostScript or even in Adobe Distiller, removing CorelDraw

Hi ellenelle, Could you please post an EPS file you produced from TypeTool which gives you a problem on import, so I can have a look? Thank you. Gennady

Hi Jason, I have looked into the issue - there are indeed several problems with "Selected Only " option in Export dialog when one exports to EPS. In case of multiple pages this can even lead to crash (however not always). The problems have been resolved and the fix will go into the next service pack. Meanwhile, try to go to Tools/Options/Global

Hi Gary, Do you have "Selected Only" box checked by any chance when you export to EPS? Does it happen with all the documents, or is it content-specific? Thank you, Gennady

http://coreldraw.com/forums/p/39020/185408.aspx#185408 This is the issue with the same root cause. Draw X6 GM and X6.1 had a bug in the document palette code that could cause spot colors to be not recognized and replaced by the dummy spot color named like "100% ID:0 Density:100". The original bug with document palette has been fixed in Update

Thank you for the test files. We have isolated the problem, it is caused by the invalid spot colors that have names like "100% ID:0 Density:100". Some of the text objects in your document have such colors. These invalid spot colors were generated due to a document palette bug that has been introduced in X6 GM but fixed in Update 2. Unfortunately

Apparently HP has broken halftoning support in new universal PS drivers it is pushing for at least a year now. The only solution at this time is to install older printer-specific PS driver ( for example download Vista PS drivers from HP website, they are still compatible with Windows 7 and 8) http://coreldraw.com/forums/t/34479.aspx?PageIndex=1

Hi, Go to Tools/Color Management/Default Color Management dialog. Change "Spot color definition:" value in the bottom left corner from default "Lab values" to "CMYK values". Lab values is the most accurate method to represent PMS colors, but there are few apps and RIPs that have problem displaying LAB colors correctly.

Hi Steve, Unfortunately this is limitation of the conical gradients support in PDF export from Draw. Draw will break conical gradients into number of small strips on export. PDF readers upon opening such PDF file would apply anti aliasing to every single color strip in the gradient, thus creating false outlines and producing Moire effect. The big question
