  • 7 deadly sins

This was originally a design study for a new set of prepaid call cards for a major telecommunications company but it was rejected as it was unlike a previous study pre-selected by the client. I decided that this was too good to be used for a call card so I used it as a stand-alone work. The concept was...

  • CorelDRAW to create iPhone apps graphics

Today, I saw an article on appadvice reviewing a new game (FrogClash) for the iPhone that somehow felt familiar… and that’s because the graphic designer who created the artwork for that game did so in CorelDRAW. Michaela Maginot actually posted the app icon a few weeks back in her gallery...

  • Candy Factory Signs

The Candy factory activity center has a lot of rides which are catered to young kids. Each ride has to have a sign to feature the name of each ride. I put my own twist into this by creating fake candy labels featuring the name of each ride as a candy product made by the "Candy Factory". It's...

  • Slow response with graphic effects

I just bought a new computer and was told I shouldn't need a separate graphics card. My motherboard has a GeForce 7050, which I see from online searches has no extra memory of its own. The system has 4GB RAM on 32-bit Windows Vista (so I gather a small part of that memory is not able to be used)...

  • Site Updates, Blog Updates and More

Today I spent most of the day updating the home page of the CorelDRAW Unleashed site . Not only did I want the page to be visually appealing, I wanted to make sure it was easy to find the training product that best met your needs for learning how to use CorelDRAW and Corel PHOTO-PAINT. I'll be doing...

  • Easier Searching and Bookmarking

We've made a few changes to the interface of the Graphics Unleashed Web site in the last couple of weeks. Our goal is to make the site even more useful to you. These changes are small changes overall, but we hope their usefulness outweighs the size of the change. Users are always looking for that...
