I had (with a lot of messing about) already managed the installation via a different route, as follows: Go to Control Panel/Programs then under the heading 'Programs and Features' click 'Use an older program with this version of Windows'...

I'm also unable to install CorelDraw 10 on my new desktop running Windows Vista, so this sounds like it may be worth a try. What is UAC, and whereabouts in the control panel will I find it? Thanks Wendy

Do you have any problems saving in 9? and is it on the same computer? I am wondering if it is a program problem or a hardware one. do you ever have trouble saving in any other program on this computer? You might want to examine your disks and make sure they are not scratched or anything.

CD10 - colour palettes

The colour palettes (default CMYK and RGB) have changed to very bright colours and try as I might I cannot restore the original colours.
