    We still use VP 8 and have recently upgraded to Windows XP SP3 which seems to have caused some serious trouble. We've had 3 files now that have simply deleted text from a certain point to the end of a chapter! We also had one file that substituted an entire paragraph for a short sting of characters...

  • Installation of Ventura8

    I own a copy of Ventura8 which I have not used in a few years. I now find that I cant install it in WindowsXP. Can this be done or is 8 obsolete?

  • Guidelines in Ventura 8

    Hi Does anyone know of a way of clearing guidelines from a publication automatically. I know it is possible to do this within the guides by clearing guides but this only works on a page by page basis. Possibly someone has a script that would cope with it. Many thanks Patrick

  • Ventura 8 on Vista

    OK, I've seen all the posts on version 10 -- yes, it will run on Vista, kinda. Now, what about v. 8? Anybody tried that yet? Also, anybody tried Ventura (any version) in a virtual machine (vmware, etc.)? I was hoping an upgrade to v. 10 would help me with Vista, but I'm doubting it will be worth...

    Hola Ariel, aprovechando un tiempo libre, en todo caso ya empezare a mirar como solucionan la ausencia del foro de Ventura para los no matriculados en el foro, para nuevamente postear, pues no vale la pena postear para si mismo, siendo este un foro y cuyo destino es gente que quiere silucionar sus problemas...

    Holas, relativamente es inconveniente, en terminos de la capacidad de la memoria disponible, lo interesante de los objetos incrustados es que el tamaño es menor en memoria cuando se abre —cuando se esta trabajando—, implica menor número de accesos al disco, etc, especialmente los objetos de corelDRAW...

    Yo no creo que haya un ánimo adverso respecto al foro de Vectura. Más aun, me parece que es todo lo contrario, por algo lo crearon (aun antes de crear los foros en español y otros idiomas) y quizá el mayor problema sea que le den poca atencion, tanto al foro como al propio Ventura. Es un poco desconcertante...
