When you have large text and you look at it in wire frame you can see the outline of the text and all the nodes associated with it. Is there a way to convert the outline to a single line and still keep the style of the text?

My color palette settings is set on Default CMYK Palette, but for some reason it displays RGB colors. I've already tried resetting to default factory settings but it doesn't seem to work. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
