Have you tried importing the PDF into CorelDRAW? The Shortcut Key is CTRL+I or FILE > Import

I doubt that there's anything you can do at the moment. Your computer seems to be working as much as it can. You can always close open applications and kill some processes/services. An Upgrade may help... but that should be the last option.

I'm trying to import a PDF file but always get the error message "failed to memory-map the file". I have also tried to convert to .EPS before importing but it says "an error has occured....". Can anyone help

Is there a reason that sometimes I can import pdfs and its fine, but others will not import, displaying "File is Corrupted". I can still open and edit those same "corrupted" files in Adobe Acrobat just fine, but they won't come into Corel. Is there another way to get those pdf...
