Recently we have had issues with customers that want a size scale behind their art to more appropriately judge their art size to approve. I made a grid by hand, but is there a way to run a macro to fit it exact to the art? Wayne

  • Re: Blur effect

The Gaussian Effect is a Bitmap Effect. However, I do know that a future build of DrawShader and the wOxxOm tools package offers that effect you need. There is a workaround using blends and transparencies like what Alexxx uses in his works. You can find some hints in this wiki. [EXTRACT BELOW] This tutorial...

  • VBA Macro - Paste to Mouse Click

I once heard about a VBA macro existing that would allow you to copy an object to the clip board, then activate this macro, and then everywhere you clicked the mouse it would paste 'said' object. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Appreciate any help that you can give. -AJ

  • Resizing groups of objects with maintaining individual center position

Imagine this: You have completed a rather complex illustration with many different components and objects in it. Now it turns out that you need a different size for a subset of those objects (not resizing the whole drawing) and they should maintain their position in the drawing at the same time. No problem...

Who says you have to hold a camera just one or two ways? • Point & Shoot is the New Macro?

Most serious photographers have at least one macro lens in their arsenal. The problem is that most of us don’t allocate precious room in our bags, or consider it within our weight limits when we pack and travel.  In addition, macro lenses are expensive and some photographers might forego the cost...

  • Blame it on the Rain

Sometimes a more unique photo is waiting in the guise of a dreary downpour. Bored yesterday with working on design-for-print projects, I took a break at lunchtime, put on a macro lens, a ring flash and sat on my front steps pondering the rose bush growing there.  It was a high-overcast with wonderful...

  • "Don't do that again...!"

Just a test. I've scripted a few macros to shortcut my workflow when I work with ArtisticMedia Tool. Now it's possible for me to "paint" in draw with those macros! And I really love it!
