  • Object Order

Hi there. Can Corel X4 automatically reorder the order in which Corel lists objects on a layer. I have a laser that needs to make 5,000 cuts but I find that the head runs from here to there, helter skelter, retracting its steps and wasting a lot of time. (I know it lists them in order of creation, but...

I am about to create a single colour logo in CorelDRAW. I am looking to create a spraypaint effect with paint runs as a background, with the main logo and text reversed out infront of it. As it is to be a logo, I would like to create it as a vector image (curve). Is there a tool that I can use to achieve...

  • Sunday Stock: Vecteezy

Today I'm going to keep it short and sweet. The Vecteezy site offers a number of pieces of vector artwork that you can download and use in your projects. Most of the samples I explored are provided as Adobe Illustrator files and you'll find a few CorelDRAW files. You should be able to get most...

  • Sunday Stock: iStockphoto Image of the Week

You may already be familiar with the folks at iStockphoto . They supplied 1000 high-resolution images for inclusion with CorelDRAW X4. And when you registered, they gave you credits towards the purchase of more images. I know users are hesitant to create accounts sometimes because they don't want...

  • Corel Receives Proposal from Majority Shareholder

So who really owns Corel these days? It can get confusing. I'll try to recap the ownership history as best I can remember and then I'll bring you up to speed with what happened today. Keep in mind that I don't work for Corel and I have no inside knowledge of what happened. Back in the 1990s...
