Why are some of my menu items disabled?

A trial version has a 15 day time limit. When the time limit is reached some menu items (e.g. save, save as) will be disabled. Purchasing the product or requesting a trial extension will reactivate the menu items.

I keep on asking some friends why this happened. Some of my menu items were disabled. I finally know why. Now I think I have to purchase the product.

I thought that this product was free so I was dissapointed that the most important menus were disabled but I have to say that this product is worth every single penny!
