By default, the option to "Auto-Center New PowerClip Contents" is disabled in CorelDRAW X5.
To enable it:
Tools
>> Options
> >>Workspace
>>>> Edit
>>>>> Check "Auto-Center New PowerClip Contents"
I prefer NOT auto-center.

But unfortunately in Corel X4 it is set ot on which is very annoying but do you know that you can even select any image from the pwerclip object without entering into the main object containing it? Following link says it can be done... but how

Its a great ! I personally find it more useful to powerclip. Auto-center new PowerClip contents agrees ecimal places.
