Hi Yani, I was just browsing through the information you provided here, most of it and related links are way over my head, but I just wanted to commment on deleting temporary files - there is a quicker way to delete them. Click Start Run then type %temp% it opens the temp folder then  Ctrl A Del. It works in XP I don't know about Vista.

Thanks Sherron.

Yeah. Most of the stuff written went over my head and as mentioned here, to dele my files in XP, all I have to do is go to “Run” type “%temp%” and just delete and it works like a charm!! But it would be really nice if all that was explained in simpler terms and language and I am sure that it would be very useful for “greenhorns” like me!! Hope we’ll see it soon!!

Hi,

you can use Ccleaner to clean up the files and registry.

and also run Auslogics Disk Defrag to defrag the harddisk.

and run a system arrangement file using this software.
